Nigeria's number one comedian, Ali
Baba, in his usual frank and honest way, has sent a thought-provoking
message to Nigerian men of God as well as worshippers via his Twitter.
The humour merchant is not about jokes but mirroring the sincere thoughts of many Nigerians who keep reeling in poverty while their religious leaders roll in affluence, and opulence, acquiring state of the art cars and gadgets and private jets, while junketing all over the world in the name of evangelization.
Ali Baba took time to tell the pastors, general overseers of churches and the billionaires that attend the churches the gospel truth.
The tweets offended some of his followers, but he did not back down and tweeted the following:
"Guess a few people were offended by my tweets on billionaire pastors. [They] need to do more for the congregation by harnessing the rich to help the poor."
