Sacked Swans boss Laudrup has revealed he was not allowed to say goodbye to his former players after being axed by the Welsh side on Tuesday.
It comes because the Dane - who will receive a £4.5million pay-off, as we revealed on Tuesday - is taking legal action against the club.
Laudrup has hired lawyers to try to clear his name after his dismissal and also get a full explanation of the reasons for it.
Laudrup was axed on Tuesday evening after his relationship with chairman Huw Jenkins reached breaking point.
Swansea's defeat at West Ham last Saturday left them in relegation danger but Laudrup responded by giving his players two days off. He also jetted off for a short break in Paris.
Laudrup also found himself at the centre of a player revolt after several members of the squad led delegations to Jenkins to complain about his training methods.
That is another factor as to why Swansea and Jenkins do not want the former Getafe and Spartak Moscow boss seeing his former players while the final terms of his departure are thrashed out.
Swansea have begun looking for a new manager, although veteran defender and skipper Garry Monk will be given time to try to lead the club to safety, while coach Alan Curtis also remains popular.
Former England boss Glenn Hoddle is on the club's short-list of long term replacements. Everton No2 Graeme Jones, who formerly held the same role at the Swans, is also on their radar.
