Man Caught Riding Bike On Top Of Car

A foolhardy man has been caught out by police during a seriously dumb daredevil antic.

Inexplicably, the man sat on a bike which was precariously attached to the roof of a Kingswood wagon which his wife was driving down a country road in Queensland.

The bizarre scene was captured by a police dash cam, which shows the man's surprise when the siren sounds and the police bring his 'fun' to an end.

 

Queensland police spokesperson Peter Flanders told 9 News: 'It's right up there with one of the most dangerous things you can do in a car.'

At one stage, the wagon drove directly past a police station.

 

When a second passenger began to mount the roof to attempt the stunt on a second bicycle on the roof, police swooped in and pulled them over on the side of the road. 

'I shook my head and thought ‘how can three people collectively think so stupidly together?’ said Flanders. 

He said the man would have suffered certain death if he came off the vehicle

The driver was driving the vehicle and she was the one to take the fall for the foolish stunt. 

She has had her licence suspended for six months and copped a $600 fine. 

Hopefully for the driver's sake, her husband is capable of driving more than just a stationary bicycle.
