Premier League Predictions - Week 7

Leicester v Burnley [Saturday]

After thrashing Man U, many thought Leicester would beat Palace last weekend but they lost.

They are at home to Burnley, one of the worst teams in the league, if they don't win this. their fans will be disappointed.

Burnley just can't score goals at the moment, going forward, they are poor. It is still very early in the league, but they need to start picking up points.

Prediction: 2-0

Hull v Crystal Palace [Saturday]

Hull tried against City in their last game, they were two nil down at some point in the game before coming back to 2-2. but they ended up losing the game.

They have to take the game to Palace because they are at home, Palace won't attack them like City, they can win the game if they go all out.

Palace have been doing well for some time now, i thought they would struggle after Pulis left, but so far so good.

They won't go into this game with any fear, they will believe they are capable of at least a draw against Hull.

Prediction: 2-1

Sunderland v Stoke [Saturday]

Sunderland can't find a win at the moment. They are really struggling.  They miraculously escaped relegation last season, if they don't start winning, especially at home, they might not escape relegation this season.

Stoke will really be confident of victory, having won at City, they'd surely think they can beat Sunderland.

This is going to be a tight game, i still don't think Sunderland will win.

Prediction: 1-1

Swansea v Newcastle [Saturday]

Swansea have done well so far. They have had a fantastic start to the season.

With Newcastle's poor form. you are almost certain that Swansea will win this game.

Newcastle fans really have to start supporting the team, they may not like the manager but they need to start supporting their team.

Against Stoke Newcastle never really posed a threat. They look disjointed at the moment. No cohesion or bite. They look lost. They have to start playing well. Whether Mike Ashley, the owner of Newcastle admits it or not, it is only a matter of time before Pardew gets the sack if the team continues to misfire.

Prediction: 1-1

Liverpool v West Brom [Saturday]

Liverpool are really poor at the moment, it is really surprising considering the amount they spent on players during the transfer window.

They are missing Sturridge no doubt, but the players available for selection should be winning games for the club.

Anything less than a win against West Brom will really be disappointing and it will put Rodgers under pressure. Balotelli needs to start scoring ASAP.

West Brom had a great performance against Burnley, but they will have to do better against Liverpool. Liverpool won't roll over like Burnley.

Prediction: 2-1

Aston Villa v Man City [Saturday]

Aston Villa were heavily beaten by Arsenal and Chelsea. They face City this time around, they won't want to lose heavily again.

They will give City a game, but i don't think it will be good enough.

Man City really played poorly against Roma in the champions league. They must be careful against Villa if not they might lose.

Arsenal and Chelsea will be playing each other this weekend, this is a chance for City to close the gap on Chelsea. This is not a must-win for them, but a win will be a good result for them.

Prediction: 1-2

Man United v Everton [Sunday]

Man United will be fresher than Everton in this game, no European game in midweek for them while Everton had a game in Russia.

Everton won't play like West Ham did last weekend, they will attack United. But i don't think they will have the energy for ninety minutes.

Prediction:2-1

Tottenham v Southampton [Sunday]

Spurs came to Arsenal and parked the bus for almost ninety minutes. It worked and nobody complained because they were away. But against Southampton they have to attack, they are at home, only a win will be good enough.

Southampton are playing with confidence at the moment, they will be hoping they can beat Spurs.

Prediction: 1-1

West Ham v QPR [Sunday]

West Ham didn't attack Man United enough in their last game, they let themselves down a bit in that game.

They only started playing after Rooney's red card. Against QPR, it will be different.

QPR have been terrible so far. I just don't understand them. They are all over the place at the moment.

They have to start winning games if they don't want to go back  to the championship.

I think West Ham will be all over them and that will force them into making mistakes. As a derby, anything can really happen. But with QPR's form, you just don't see how they can win this.game.

Prediction: 2-0

Chelsea v Arsenal  [Sunday]

What a game tis will turn out to be, many can't wait for this game to start.

Last season Chelsea won 6-0, on Sunday, it will be tight. Very, very tight.

Diego Costa has really done well so far, he's been fantastic in the league. What a player. Fabregas has been excellent too.

As usual, in the big games, Chelsea will be cautious and try to score with counter attacks. They will wait for Arsenal to commit players forward before hitting them on the break. It usually works, and it may work again this time because Wenger hardly changes the way his team plays.

If Wenger, for the first time decides to be cautious, the game will be tight. If he plays an open game as usual, It will be very entertaining but Chelsea will win.

Against Galatasaray in midweek, Arsenal were mesmerising at times. I'm sure Mourinho will be cautious of going forward because of the pace of Arsenal's forwards.

I think Arsenal will dominate possession in this game, but they might not win or even get a draw if they don't defend well.

Arsenal have to defend very well if they want to go home with something, if they don't defend well, they will surely lose.

Prediction: 1-1
