Premier League Predictions - Week 6

  Liverpool v Everton  (Saturday)

This should be a fantastic game, a Merseyside derby. I believe there will be a lot of goals too.

Liverpool have been poor of late, and Everton have been poor too. They both have problems defensively. They have conceded many sloppy goals in recent games. I don't see that stopping in this game, i see many goals in this game.

Liverpool will feel they can win it, they always beat Everton at Anfield.  Everton will be hoping they can win too.

This game is going to be entertaining and as the first game of the weekend, i hope to see goals. And i think we will.

Prediction: 3-2

Chelsea v Aston Villa  (Saturday)

Chelsea got what they wanted against City, they went there to avoid defeat and they didn't lose, job done.

Mourinho usually sets up his team cautiously against the big sides. Against Villa, it will be different though.

Chelsea won't sit and watch Villa attack at the Bridge, they will come out and attack villa.

Aston Villa were well beaten by Arsenal in their last game, they could have lost by more but they refused to come out in the second half.

They had virus in their camp before the Arsenal game, that led to their poor display against Arsenal, according to their coach, Virus or not, it will be tough for them to get something against Chelsea.

Prediction: 2-0

Crystal Palace v Leicester (Saturday)

Palace got a surprise victory against Everton, nobody gave them any chance. Their fans will now be expecting them to beat Leicester.

Leicester recorded a vital victory against United last weekend. What a game that was. I knew they would give Man United a game, but i wasn't expecting such a performance and scoreline.

They have pace, quality and strength in their team. Palace won't defend like United though.

This game will be a close one, hard to pick a winner.

Prediction: 1-1

Hull v Man City (Saturday)

Hull have been drawing games of late. They will be happy with a draw against City for sure.

City tried to beat Chelsea in their last game but Chelsea refused to come out and play so it was difficult to find the net.

Against Hull. if City put their defence under constant pressure, they won't be able to cope like Chelsea.

I just see City winning this game if they attack Hull for the majority of the game.

Prediction:1-2

Man United v West Ham (Saturday)

Man United's poor performance against Leicester have been well documented.  And it doesn't look like they will be improving soon, especially defensively. They have many defenders injured at the moment.

The responsibility to defend is the team's, not only that of the defenders. They will have to start defending as a team, They have good forwards, the problem is at the back.

West Ham will be looking to expose United"s weak back-four once again, i'm sure that is what they will be focusing on in training.

If United defend and attack as a team, they will win this, if they don't, they won't win it.

Prediction: 2-1

Southampton v QPR (Saturday)

Southampton have started the season very well, despite selling several players, they have really coped well.

I think Southampton will be disappointed if they don't win this game because QPR won't really trouble them that much.

QPR at the moment. look like a team that will be relegated. They have been poor so far. I don't see them posing much threat in this game.

Prediction: 2-0

Sunderland v Swansea (Saturday)

Sunderland can't win a game at the moment, they really have to step up.

Even though the league has just started, you still need to be winning matches, getting points early in the season will help boost confidence and won't put them under unnecessary pressure.

Swansea have done well so far, they are not under any pressure, they will play with no pressure and when you approach games without being under pressure it always helps.

I don't think Sunderland will get a victory in this game, i see another draw.

Prediction:1-1

Arsenal v Tottenham (Saturday)

Another derby, what a weekend this will be. Entertaining games non-stop.

North London derbies are always entertaining. This will surely be entertaining too.

Arsenal, on current form, should win this easily, but this is a derby, form doesn't always count.

If Spurs play like they have been doing in their recent games, they might lose by for or five goals. They must be willing to fight in this game, they have to be mentally and physically prepared for this game, if not Arsenal will tear them apart.

Just like the Liverpool v Everton game, i see goals in this game also. Although i think Arsenal will do most of the scoring.

Prediction: 3-1

West Brom v Burnley (Sunday)

West Brom finally won a game against Spurs, they have been drawing games before that.

Playing at home against Burnley, their fans will expect them to win.

Burnley are yet to win a game, they look like they need a quality striker badly. I think they will be happy with a draw in this game.

Prediction: 2-1

Stoke v Newcastle (Monday)

Stoke haven't been playing well at home this season, they have to start winning games at home if they want to finish in a good position in the league this season.

Newcastle haven't done well at all this season, their fans are not behind them, that will add more pressure to the players and coach.

They need their fans behind them and the only way to do that is by winning games.

Playing Stoke at home won't be easy, Newcastle will have to be focused. Stoke will be hoping to win this and i think they will.

Prediction: 2-1
