Celebrity Boxing Promoter Damon Feldman & George Zimmerman were attempting to promote and profit off of racial tensions in America. Damon Feldman has been known for fixing fights and taking short cuts in the past in bypassing state requirements for fighters to obtain a license to box.
Last week he said "The match will be one of the Biggest Celebrity Boxing matches of all time," But in order to find out where and when it will take place, we'll have to wait until next week.
But it appears the fight will no longer take place. Promoter, Damon Feldman said
"Its something that everyone who is mad and hating me are the people that DONT pay my bills , DONT help charities and don't know me,"
"I want to thank everyone for the good n bad comments I've made the choice to cancel the fight w George Zimmermann more to life then money" He tweeted.
DMX's representative Domenick Nati has since released a statement to address the cancellation.
"Damon Feldman has announced that the George Zimmerman fight is cancelled via his Twitter. As previously stated, DMX never agreed to the fight and we thank you for all of the support from DMX's fans. This situation will not affect any of DMX's upcoming concerts in America or around the world."
