Argentina striker Lionel Messi believes there is no such thing as an easy match at the World Cup, and expects Nigeria to be out for revenge when they clash at the 2014 showpiece in Brazil.

The two footballing nations have met at two global finals, during the 2002 and 2010 installments - both during the group stages - where Albiceleste emerged 1-0 victors each time.

That fact has left Messi cautious as the look towards this year's tournament, where the teams have again been drawn together, and the Barcelona superstar is expecting a tough test against Stephen Keshi's men.

"Everyone says that we (Argentina) have an easy group, but the games have to be played," he told ESPN.

He added: "We are like hunters to Nigeria who are wounded lions, having beaten them in successive finals."
