Premier League Predictions - Week 3

Burnley v Man United (Saturday)

Burnley, to me, are the weakest team in the league. They will have to be at their very best to get something out of this game.
Man United are a team low on confidence at the moment. They should be signing defenders and a defensive midfielder, not a forward.
Di Maria is a great player, but they can still lose this game with him in the team, their defence is terrible at the moment. I won't be surprised if they don't win this game.

Prediction: 1-2

Newcastle v Crystal Palace (Saturday)

Newcastle should have beaten Aston Villa in their last game, but they didn't take their chances.

Crystal Palace now have a new manager, it will take some time for the players to understand how he wants them to play. I don't see them going back to London with anything. Newcastle will be too much for them.

Prediction: 2-0

Man City v Stoke (Saturday)

Man City Comfortably defeated Liverpool  in their last game, it didn't look so easy in the first half, but in the second half they were extremely comfortable.

Stoke no longer plays boring football, they no longer park the bus, they are an attacking team these days. But i don't see how they will stop City from Scoring or winning this game.

Mark Hughes has done well since he became Stoke's manager, but nobody will blame him if they lose to City.

Prediction: 2-0

West Ham v Southampton (Saturday)

West Ham had a good game against Palace last weekend, this match will be different though.

Southampton are a good side, they will make things tough for the hammers.

Prediction: 1-1

Swansea v West Brom  (Saturday)

Swansea have played two and won two this season, they had a good start. This one may be different though.

West Brom have not done too badly themselves, though they are yet to win a game, they have not really disappointed. I see them drawing this game too.

Predictions:1-1

QPR v Sunderland ( Saturday)

QPR were thoroughly thrashed by Spurs in their last game. Despite spending a lot on new players they looked so poor against Spurs, they were all over the place.

They have to step up against Sunderland, if they don't they should be readying themselves for a journey back to the championship.

Sunderland could have beaten Man United last weekend, they couldn't take their chances, they have to do better against QPR, though i forsee another draw here.

Prediction: 1-1

Everton v Chelsea (Saturday)

Everton were cruising at some stage in their game against Arsenal, but somehow they still failed to win the game.

Everton won't repeat what they did against Arsenal in this game should they find themselves in the lead against Chelsea, but i don't think Chelsea will let them go two goals up against  them.

It is not clear if Costa will be fit, if he is not, Chelsea won't win this game. Regardless of Costa's availability, every team in the premier league will always find it tough against Everton.

Prediction: 1-1

Aston Villa v Hull (Sunday)

Aston villa needs a good striker at the moment, they are light upfront,

They will be hoping to win this game because they are playing at home.

Hull won't be so fresh after their Europa league game, and going out of the competition won't help matters too.

I see Villa winning this game, physically and mentally, they will be in better condition than Hull.

Prediction: 2-1

Tottenham v Liverpool (Sunday)

Liverpool  won't be as poor as QPR in this game, but Spurs will still be confident about winning the game.

If spurs beat Liverpool, people will start seeing them as a team that can finish in the top-four.

Liverpool were poor defensively against City, they were also poor defensively against Southampton but they got away with it against Southampton, but City punished them. They will have to be strong defensively against spurs if they want to get anything out of the game.

Balotelli and Sturridge upfront will trouble most defenders but i don't think Rodgers will play with two strikers, he may play Sturridge on the wing and Balotelli in the middle. Whatever he does, it will be a tough game for them.

Prediction: 2-2

Leicester v Arsenal (Sunday)

Leicester had a good game against Chelsea despite losing that game, they had some good chances but missed them.

I don't think it will be wise to attack Arsenal as they did against Chelsea because Arsenal will punish them with their pacy players like Chamberlain and Sanchez.

Arsenal did so well to come back from two goals against Everton to draw the game, they showed great determination to comeback.

I expect Wenger to make some changes because of the game against Besiktas, some players looked completely exhausted after the game against Besiktas.

Arsenal likes teams that comes out to play, and i think Leicester will come out to play and that will play into Arsenal's hands, that is why i see Arsenal winning this.

Prediction: 0-2
