Gwyneth Paltrow's LA Neighbours Irritated!

Icy blonde: Gwyneth Paltrow, pictured in a 2012 TV interview, isn't loved by her LA neighbors, according to a Tuesday report from RadarOnline

Gwyneth Paltrow doesn't just have haters online for her smug GOOP blog.

The 41-year-old actress also has detractors on her very own street.

Neighbors of the Iron Man star's LA home confessed to RadarOnline she is far from 'popular' in the upscale neighborhood not just because she built a nine foot fence around her property - which is illegal - but also because she hasn't even said hello to any of them yet.

'It’s a really active community, but we don’t see much of them,' neighbor Hilda McGonigle told Radar.

'When they moved in they had Do Not Trespass signs put up at their school and all over their property. Then they had the big gates put in and four layers of trees.'

After Paltrow purchased the Brentwood home in 2012 for $10m with husband Chris Martin - who she announced last week she is splitting from - she put up the nine foot high gates, which are almost five feet higher than zoning laws allow.

The house that Paltrow ruined?: Nine foot fences and layers of fir trees were put around this $10m mansion location in the Mandeville Canyon section of LA's tony Brentwood neighborhood

Not in step: Paltrow and Martin, who split in late March, moved to LA in 2012 to fix their marriage, the 41-year-old actress has admitted

In 2013 a complaint was filed with the Los Angeles Department Of Building And Safety to lower the black barriers, but the couple has yet to do anything, making them eligible for a $900 fine. Also a problem are the layers of fir trees surrounding the property.

But the worst of it was the months and months of heavy construction that caused traffic and noise on the sleepy street.

'There was always work being done at the house,' a neighbor who didn't want to be identified said. 'I only got annoyed when the workmen would illegally park in my driveway and they hadn’t even spoken to me about it.'
