Straight-A student guns down teacher

 

A pupil shot dead a teacher and a policeman after going on the rampage at his school yesterday – because he was marked down in an exam.
Fuming Sergey Gordeev also held 20 other students hostage after killing Andrey Kirillov, 37, who is said to have given him a poor geography grade.

The 16-year-old burst into the Moscow school with two of his dad’s rifles and confronted the teacher.
One pupil said: “He shot him in the stomach, checked whether he was alive, and then carried out a control shot to his head.”

Another, Ivan Fodokin, 17, added: “We heard the man outside yelling to open the door, and then we heard shooting.”

The stand-off ended when the killer’s dad went into the school in a bullet-proof vest to calm him.

Straight-A student Gordeev was said to have suffered an emotional breakdown before he stormed the building, unleashing 11 shots.

The deranged teenager was last night being quizzed by police.
