Premier League Predictions - Week 25

Liverpool v Arsenal [Saturday]

Liverpool dropped points against West Brom last weekend, in a game many thought they would win.

They host Arsenal on Saturday, they can't afford to lose this one, after drawing against West Brom.

It is not going to be easy for them because they are missing key defenders.

Suarez and Sturridge didn't score against Arsenal when they played at the Emirates, they will believe they can do so this time around because they are palying at home.

Arsenal have been top of the league for a long time, but this match against Liverpool is the first of many matches they have to play against big teams within the next 12 days.

Arsenal have a fantastic record against Liverpool, Liverpool have only won one of their last 13 games against Arsenal, they have not won in their last 6 games at home against Arsenal.

This is going to be a a very tight game, but i believe Arsenal will edge it, because Liverpool will play an open game and that will favour Arsenal.

Arsenal have a very good midfield, if you give them space, they will punish you.

Prediction: 1-2

Aston Villa v West Ham [Saturday]

Aston villa nearly went away with a point against Everton last weekend, but they conceded a goal towards the end of the game.

It was disappointing for them but they did very well in that game.

They are at home against West Ham, they will see this as a game they must win.

West Ham won against Swansea last weekend but lost Carroll who assisted both goals against Swansea.

They will miss Carroll in this game.

Prediction: 2-1

Crystal Palace v West Brom [Saturday]

Palace tried their best against Arsenal in their last game but still lost.

This is West Brom though, a team they will feel they can certainly beat.

Palace have been very good at home since Tony Pulis took over and they don't concede much at home.

West Brom got a great point against Liverpool, they will fancy their chances in this game.

Prediction: 1-1

Chelsea v Newcastle [Saturday]

Chelsea got a wonderful victory against City on Monday. They were great in that game.
They are certainly contenders for the title, They can win it.

They are at home against Newcastle, they will see this game as a must-win.

Newcastle were humiliated by their local rivals, Sunderland, in their last game, they will still be hurting from that game.

They will want to restore their pride by getting something from this game. But it will be extremely difficult.

Prediction: 2-0

Southampton v Stoke [Saturday]

Southampton are back on form, they destroyed Fulham in their last game, and they host Stoke this time around.

Arsenal found it tough the last time Arsenal visited the Saints. They are very good at home.

Stoke got a great victory against Man U last weekend, their confidence will be high.
I expect this to be tight, but the saints will take the points.

Prediction: 2-1

Norwich v Man City [Saturday]

Norwich were unlucky to lose against Cardiff in their last game, but that's football, if you don't take your chances, you will get punished.

They host Man City this time around. This could be the right or maybe the wrong time to play Man City..

The right time in the sense that, Man City may be psychologically down after their defeat to Chelsea.
They might be vulnerable, Norwich can take advantage of their vulnerability.

Or maybe the wrong time to play Man City because they will want to quickly put their defeat to Chelsea behind them by winning this game.

They will see this game as an opportunity to show people their loss to Chelsea was a blip.

Man City will want to bounce back with a victory in this game. And i think they will get it.

Prediction: 0-2

 Swansea v Cardiff [Saturday]

This is a derby between two Welsh teams, this is going to be a cracker.

Sacking Michael Laudrup was and is still shocking, they are up against it now.

I hope the Swansea management won't regret the decision.

This is a huge derby, everyone will be fired up for this one.

Cardiff will see this game as one of the games they can win. They haven't been fantastic of late, but they will believe they can win this one.

Prediction: 2-1

Sunderland v Hull [Saturday]

Sunderland won convincingly against Newcastle in their last game,  this is a must-win game for them.

They are hosting a team fighting to avoid relegation just like themselves, they have to win this if they want to stay up.

Hull will fancy their chances in this game. They will be saying to themselves, we must get something from this game.

Prediction:2-1

Tottenham v Everton [Sunday]

If Tottenham wants to finish in the top four, they must win this game.

They couldn't beat Hull in their last game, they lost heavily to City before that, they can't afford to drop points here.

Everton won't want to lose this game too, they will be happy with a point in this game. And i think they will get it.

Prediction: 1-1

Man U v Fulham [Sunday]

This is a game between two inconsistent teams, Fulham are worse though.
.
Fulham have been terrible for a while now, they look like they will be relegated at the moment.

They will be banking on the players they bought on transfer deadline day to see them through.

Man U have to win this if they really want to finish in the top four, anything less than a win will be a disaster.

Prediction: 2-0
