Madrid to meet Barca in Final

Cristiano Ronaldo: Celebrates after netting at the Vicente Calderon Lionel Messi: Celebrates his opening goal for Barcelona

Cristiano Ronaldo scored two first-half penalties as Real Madrid booked their place in the final of the Copa del Rey against city rivals Atletico with a 2-0 victory.

Real were already 3-0 up from the first leg and headed east to the Vicente Calderon with a huge degree of security.

They would have been expecting a rough ride, especially as Atletico are the holders of the trophy having beaten Los Blancos in last year's final, but it did not turn out that way.

While their Rival Barcelona set up an El Clasico final in the Copa del Rey despite being held to a 1-1 draw by Real Sociedad in the semi-final second leg.

Barca held a 2-0 lead from the first leg and never looked in real trouble of giving that up as they moved into a final against Real Madrid, who beat city rivals Atletico on Tuesday.

Lionel Messi scored the only goal for the visitors with Antoine Griezmann grabbing an equaliser with three minutes to go.
