A teacher saw the girl in trouble and managed to help her to cough up what she had swallowed.
They called cops when they realised it was a live bullet.
The girl was taken to hospital to check that none of the chemicals in the bullet had leaked into the fruit juice and to make sure that it hadn't damaged her throat.
She was released the same day to her parents and police are investigating how the bullet could have got into the orange juice carton by speaking to the store and the Italian packager.
