"The Doctors" star Dr. James Sears will be leaving the show under a cloud TMZ has learned ... he's being investigated for allegedly threatening a man's life and it's all over a woman.

According to law enforcement and other sources ... Sears' girlfriend was at his Huntington Beach home near L.A. last month and something happened to make her feel uneasy. She told cops she called her ex-BF Pete Scalisi to pick her up and he obliged.

Man cleared of murder charge after being hanged 74 years ago

A man has been cleared of the murder of a woman for which he was hanged in 1941 – 74 years too late.

Harry Gleeson from Co. Tipperary is the first person ever to receive the posthumous pardon by the Republic of Ireland for the murder of Moll McCarthy, who he found in a field with two shotgun blasts to her face.

Man Threw Daughter Off Bridge

Florida man has been charged with murder after police say he threw his five-year-old daughter off a bridge in St Petersburg. 

A police officer saw the incident after he followed John Jonchuck Jr, 25, for speeding, Chief Anthony Holloway said.

The girl, who was dropped into 60ft (18m) of water, was found about an hour later and pronounced dead at hospital.

Police Hunt For Terror Suspects

Two armed suspects wanted over the Charlie Hebdo massacre were tonight being pursued through woodland as a huge manhunt closed in on a forest.

Police believe they have tracked down the brothers to a remote area about 50 miles north-east of Paris after reportedly robbing a nearby petrol station.

Officers are said to have found a Molotov cocktail bomb and jihadist flag in the car of Cherif and Said Kouachi, which they abandoned before fleeing.

The men, still armed, headed on foot into the vast Forêt de Retz (Retz Forest) that measures 32,000 acres, an area roughly the size of Paris.

Amanda Bynes "Very Ill"

Amanda Bynes is in such bad shape ... her doctors secretly got an order from a judge that allows them to hold her for another month ...

According to TMZ, Amanda's doctors asked a judge Monday for a 30-day extension to her involuntary commitment. She's been in a psychiatric facility for the last 17 days, and if an extension wasn't granted she would have walked out the front door yesterday.

Pistorius Sentenced To Jail

Former Olympic hero Oscar Pistorius was sentenced to 5 years in prison for killing his girlfriend on Valentine's Day 2013.

Under South African law, Pistorius will have to serve at least 10 months before he can ask for parole.

In addition, Pistorius was given a 3-year suspended sentence on a firearms charge (unrelated to Steenkamp), but it was suspended for 5 years, so long as he's not found guilty of another crime where there's negligence involving a firearm during that period.

Pistorius had previously been found guilty of culpable homicide in the death of Reeva Steenkamp. He maintained throughout the trial he thought she was an intruder.

 He could be released after serving a sixth of his sentence, or 10 months, for good behaviour.

North Korea: Frees US Citizen

Jeffrey Fowle, one of three US citizens detained in North Korea, has been released, US officials say.

State department spokeswoman Marie Harf confirmed that Mr Fowle was on his way home on Tuesday following negotiations.

She said the US was working to secure the release of two other US nationals, Matthew Miller and Kenneth Bae, who remain in detention in North Korea.

No Case Against Stephen Collins

Stephen Collins -- a self-proclaimed child molester -- will NOT be prosecuted for either molesting or exposing himself to the 3 victims.

TMZ posted audio of Collins confessing to wife Faye Grant that he molested and/or exposed himself to 3 girls ... ages 11 - 13. And, as we reported ... the NYPD and the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. have open investigations. The LAPD is also looking into the case they closed 2 years ago.

North & South Exchange Fire

North and South Korea briefly exchanged gunfire over their heavily fortified land border, South Korea says.

North Korean troops approached the demarcation line separating the two sides, prompting South Korean soldiers to fire warning shots, officials said.

The North Koreans returned fire, and the sides exchanged shots for about 10 minutes, they added. There were no reports of injuries.

Melissa Rejects Autopsy For Joan

According to TMZ, we may never know exactly what killed Joan Rivers ... because a decision was made NOT to do an autopsy ...

Melissa Rivers was despondent when Joan died and told doctors she did not want an autopsy performed.  According to New York law, doctors will honor such a request if there's no evidence of criminality associated with the death.

If you've ever made fun of Bono for wearing sunglasses inside, prepare to feel like an ass -- because the singer just revealed the only reason he's been doing it for 2 decades is because he has glaucoma.

During a recent taping of the "Graham Norton Show" Bono said he's been suffering from the condition for 20 years ... and finally felt it was time to come out with his eye condition.

Bono said he's been getting treatments and will be fine, adding ... "You're not going to get this out of your head now and you will be saying, 'Ah, poor old blind Bono.'"

B'Haram Agrees To Release Abducted Girls

Nigeria's military says it has agreed a ceasefire with Islamist militants Boko Haram - and that the schoolgirls the group has abducted will be released.

Nigeria's chief of defence staff, Alex Badeh, announced the truce. Boko Haram has not made a public statement.

A leading American cardinal has told the Buzz Feed website that he is to be demoted from his position running the Catholic Church justice system.

Cardinal Raymond Burke is a staunch critic of Pope Francis' moves to soften the Church's stance on homosexuality.

He is to be moved to the far less senior post of patron of the sovereign military order of Malta.
Pope Francis is leading a council in the Vatican on possible reforms to Church teaching on social issues.

Students Advised To Urinate in Shower

University students are being urged to urinate in the shower in a bid to save water.

The Go with the Flow campaign is the brainchild of students Debs Torr and Chris Dobson, from the University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich.

They want the university's 15,000 students to take their first wee of the day while having their morning shower.

Mexico Drug Baron Arrested

The alleged leader of the Juarez drug cartel - one of Mexico's most powerful crime syndicates - has been arrested, government sources say.

Vicente Carrillo Fuentes, known as "the Viceroy", was held in the northern city of Torreon.

The arrest is the latest in a series of high profile operations against drug lords in Mexico this year.

Sarah Palin's family threw down in a massive drunken brawl as violent as any wrestling cage match -- with ripped shirts, bloodied faces, and her daughter Bristol getting dragged around a lawn by her legs. 

The brawl went down last month near Anchorage, Alaska ... when the Palin clan -- Todd and his kids Willow, Track, and Bristol -- went to a friend's house party. Female Fan Causing Outrage In Saudi

A female spectator cheering for a Saudi football team has angered men on social media in the country.

Her team lost, so it's no wonder she was frustrated. Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal were defeated 2-1 by the UAE's Al Ain in the Asian Champions League semi-finals last week. A clip of the match has been viewed almost 400,000 times on YouTube, but it's not the scything tackle on a player from Al Hilal that angered fans commenting on it.
